Caroline Bone

Administrator

My role is to provide a link between our team of practitioners and our clients. I undertake a full range of duties including being point of contact for clients and their families, coordinating practitioners’ diaries, booking appointments for clients and families, and liaising with schools to arrange observations.

My 30+ year career has involved working for a wide variety of organisations including a leading UK-based financial services group, an adult Hospice, a dental practice and large GP practice. Prior to working at Park Psychology Services I worked in a very similar role for a company providing Autism and ADHD assessments to pre-school children.
I take great pride in supporting our team and make the whole experience for clients and their families a little easier for all involved.

Maren Clark

Virtual Assistant

I’m Maren, the Virtual Assistant for Park Psychology Services. I am a real person – virtual just means I am not based near the offices, but rather, I am currently living up in the beautiful North-East of Scotland.

I mainly deal with the initial enquiries and helping clients with information about all the assessments that we offer, as well as setting up the client files on the clinical system. I also send out the assessment questionnaires once appointments have been confirmed, and generally pitch in with other admin tasks as needed when I am working.

When I am not busy with the daily admin tasks, I enjoy reading and crafts such as crochet, sewing and cross-stitch. My extra little guilty pleasure is watching / listening to crime dramas while crafting or sewing!

Since founding Park Psychology Services in 2021, I have specialised in providing assessments exploring neurodivergence with both adults and children, including providing specialist neurodevelopmental assessments with people who have experienced developmental trauma. I have also acted as an expert witness for court. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my dog, Roxy, and going for walks in the countryside. I also love meeting up with friends and going to watch rugby matches back in Wales.

I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the HCPC. Since qualifying, I’ve worked in a range of settings across the NHS, Children’s Social Care and private sector. This work has involved offering Autism, ADHD assessments and learning difficulty assessments, as well as developing pathways of support for neurodiverse children. In addition to this, I’ve worked therapeutically with children, young people and their families, along with providing consultation for the wider network.

I am trained and experienced in administering a range of neurodevelopmental and cognitive assessment tools, including the ADOS, ADI-R, WISC, WAIS, WIAT and KTEA.

I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent children, young people, and families. I aim to work in a way that is both neuro-affirming and trauma-informed. I really enjoy helping people understand themselves and jointly exploring what each individual needs to feel safe and to live life meaningfully. I love the work I do and it’s a privilege to be invited to share in a part of your journey. Outside of work, I love going out on a long walk or heading off for some wild swimming!
